Endocrine Pathology
Endocrine Pathology is the subspecialty of surgical pathology which deals with the diagnosis and characterization of neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases of organs of the endocrine system, including the thyroid, parathyroids, exocrine pancreas, and adrenal glands. This area addresses disorders of hormonal secretion and control of various body functions, and related disorders including diabetes, thyroid disorder, infertility, abnormal growth, and disorders of pituitary and adrenal function.
